The list of updates:
- removed the wall separating the kitchen from the Dining/Living Room
- replaced the wall with columns and beam
- rewired the electrical in the wall that was removed
- replaced carpet with wood floors in living and dining room
- removed vinyl flooring from kitchen and replaced it with wood floors
- removed wall paper, textured and painted
- built island, which added seating and storage
- removed counter tops and sink
- added granite counter tops and a stainless steel sink
- new tile back splash
- new light fixtures in kitchen
