Hunting for Eggs

This past weekend we took a trip down to Indianola where my Grandma lives to celebrate Easter. It was Makenna's first ever egg hunt. She did pretty well. It took her a while to catch on to what was going on. Also, she thought that the eggs were balls. Oh well she got excited about them either way.

Trip to Chicago

For my birthday this year I got to take a girls weekend and visit my good friend Sarah who lives in downtown Chicago. Yeah that is right a weekend with the girls! I had a great time. Some highlights were: shopping, the view from Sarah's 19th floor condo, walking around downtown, enjoying the best fettuccine alfredo I have ever had, great conversations, and of course eating at Cosi.

Sledding With Megan

My friend Megan has been wanting to take Makenna sledding for quite a while now and yesterday happened to be the day that Megan's wish came true.

After a bit of confusion about what was going on during the first few trips down the hill, Makenna ended up loving sledding and she kept asking for more.
